[Video] Sells, AZ E78 airport

I Flew to Sells, AZ today. I love finding and going to new airports. This one is a smaller airport with tight runway with cracks in the pavement lined with bushes and trees. I had never landed with trees so close to the runway it was a neat new experience.
This is looking down runway 22

My trusty 152 at the runway 4 end.

The house that had a helicopter take off from it and what looked like a fuel truck was there.
What was the FBO.
E78 from the air.
Saw this after I landed at Chandler (CHD).  very nice.

Be very very glad that your flat was the front tire. I had the right wheel go flat taxiing out to 12 at Marana one day. The tire went from up to completely flat, just like that! I couldn't even steer the airplane. It swerved right and stopped. Had it been on landing or take off, the results could have been catastrophic!

As for changing the tire, it is not as easy as jacking up the car and putting on the spare. That's for sure. You have to chain down the tail, if it's the nose wheel, or drag a very heavy jack under the wing, if it's one of the main gear. All the fairings have to come off. Lots of fun. Ha!

My IFR story

An ifr story I finally did it this December I passed my instrument rating so I’m now a commercial land and sea instrument rated pilot single engine. It definitely took a long time to do I started instrument flying about 10 years ago. It wasn’t that I never wanted to get my instrument rating it’s that I ran out of money. I got my private pilots certificate in the fall of 2008 in the spring of the year I got married. I was going to Arizona State with ambitions to become a commercial pilot. By the time I got my private license the financial recession that happened that year in the next few years after was starting to manifest itself. I continued flight training seeing all my instructors leave for the airlines and then less than a year later come back to CFIs. By the end of the spring of 2009 I had changed my major to aviation management degree and decided to pursue aviation using part 61 I saw that I needed to pinch every penny that I could I still had ambitions to become an airline p...
